Nathan carries broad experience across all aspects of corporate, commercial and business law, coupled with an extensive transactional history, acting on numerous acquisitions /dispositions for clients across various jurisdictions.

Prior to establishing Banks Legal in 2009, Nathan spent seven years working for top tier law firms in New Zealand before joining the Dubai office of the international law firm Clyde & Co in 2005. He then joined Nakheel as Senior Legal Counsel for Nakheel’s Joint Ventures Business Unit in 2008.

Nathan holds an LLB (first class honours) and a Bachelor of Social Sciences (Economics) and was admitted to the Law Society of New Zealand in 1998.
